Against the backdrop of violence and pain that we are witnessing in our country, many of us experience a daily struggle to cling to the positive values of compassion and civility that we need to thrive as a nation. Join us in lifting up our hearts and our communities on Sunday, September 13th, at our 15th annual Unity Walk where multiple people of all faiths and backgrounds will come together on one day to celebrate the diversity of our region, to visit houses of worship, and most importantly, to listen to each other and ask questions of each other. Now is time for us all to come together and to publicly declare that this is a no hate zone and to unite around our shared humanity.
People of all faiths and cultures from around the DC region will walk down “Embassy Row” and visit houses of worship and other religious centers in a public celebration of unity and support for our diverse community. The Unity Walk is open and free to everyone.
