On behalf of the Sikh community we would like to send our condolences to the family and friends of Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church. We have you in our prayers and want you to know that you are not alone as you move forward from this senseless and violent act. To bring someone into a House of God with open arms and have them betray your acceptance with hate and violence is inaccusable. But through love and prayer, we hope that you find comfort knowing that the lives lost are now with God.
Please join all of us to commemorate the martyrdom of fifth Guru, Guru Arjun Dev Ji.

One knows the Truth only when he receives true instruction. Showing mercy to other beings, he makes donations to charities.
One knows the Truth only when he dwells in the sacred shrine of pilgrimage of his own soul. He sits and receives instruction from
the True Guru, and lives in accordance with His Will. Truth is the medicine for all; it removes and washes away our sins. Nanak
speaks this prayer to those who have Truth in their laps. ||
